Can we have calculation of Entry and Exit price based on Option buying & Selling?

While logging a new trade, under “Type” Short sellers would always have to select “Short” for both upside and downside trades which give inaccurate picture in Analytics showing all trades as shorts. But in reality, long trades would have also been entered.
